Professor of Dance Chris Johnson created a new work in collaboration with alumna Sarah Ellen Miller’15 and student Emma Logas’25 last May. The dance was invited to be a part of this fall’s Elgin Fringe Festival, held Labor Day Weekend. Three Beloiters join local RENT production

A Janesville director casts the beloved musical with all-LGBTQ+ actors — including three of Beloit’s own — for the first time and received video messages of support from two original cast members. “This is the exact time you should be doing a show like this,” they said. “You’re part of the RENT family now.”

Rehearsal for Murder

Beloit College students performed Rehearsal for Murder in April of 2024. The script was full of twist and turns, and the performance required the full use of the theatre space.

Chelonia 2024

Chelonia is Beloit’s annual evening of concert dance spanning featuring multiple dance styles. This year featured work by AJ Juarez, an Argentinian choreographer who works in Hip-Hop Dance and Latin Fusion, as well as new works from dance faculty and student choreographers.
